Job description

ROLE SUMMARY

The Legal Analyst is part of Integration Consulting's legal team in Brazil, a small in-house team that supports the firm's operations in Brazil and abroad (Argentina, Mexico, Chile, the United Kingdom, Germany and the United States). With a background in tax law, the professional will be the team's first point of contact for tax matters, while also working across all the other topics a small corporate legal department handles — contracts, corporate matters, compliance and day-to-day legal requests from the business.

We are looking for an early-career lawyer who is curious, versatile and comfortable in a generalist role: someone who enjoys learning new subjects, takes ownership of their work, interacts directly with Integration's leadership and internal areas, and wants to grow in an in-house legal environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Tax Matters

•     Supports Integration's leadership and internal areas on tax matters, especially Brazilian corporate taxes (IRPJ/CSLL, PIS/COFINS, ISS and INSS)

•     Analyses the tax aspects of contracts, intercompany arrangements and service agreements, preparing memos and practical recommendations

•     Supports Finance and external advisors on tax compliance, ancillary obligations (eSocial, ECD, ECF, SPED) and tax authority queries

•     Supports the management of tax administrative proceedings and the tax contingency register, in coordination with external counsel

•     Monitors tax legislative and regulatory changes, assessing their impact on Integration

Contracts

•     Drafts, reviews and negotiates contracts with clients, suppliers and partners, including proposals, service agreements, NDAs and amendments — applying Integration's internal negotiation playbook

•     Supports Commercial and Finance teams on billing, collections and contractual issues with clients

Corporate & General Legal Support

•     Supports corporate acts and housekeeping for Integration's entities, including minutes, amendments to articles of association and filings with the Commercial Registry (Junta Comercial)

•     Handles day-to-day legal requests from Finance, HR, Operations and other areas across a broad range of topics, such as labour, data protection, compliance and intellectual property

•     Supports the relationship with external law firms, ensuring quality, scope control and cost efficiency

•     Contributes to internal legal policies, procedures and contract templates

Provides coverage for colleagues in the legal team during vacations and absences

Job requirements

Education

•     Law degree completed within the last 2-4 years; active bar membership (OAB)

•     Postgraduate studies in Tax Law (completed or in progress) are a differentiating factor

Professional Experience

•     Previous experience in tax law, preferably in a law firm or in a company's tax or legal department (internships included), even if the candidate's current role is in another area

•     Exposure to contracts, corporate law or other areas of a corporate legal department is a plus

Technical Skills

•     Knowledge of Brazilian tax law, including direct taxes (IRPJ/CSLL), indirect taxes (PIS/COFINS, ISS) and ancillary obligations

•     Basic knowledge of contract and corporate law

•    Fluent English required; Spanish is a differentiating factor
